Hello all, I was looking for a little get away and relized that what I need was a little pampering. So I made an appointment to have my hair cut. Didn't want to go to the usual Cost Cutters because I needed something more relaxing. Now a days I have to fit as many things in at the same time. So rest and relaxation it was. As I walked into the spa I was warmly greeted and offered a cup of herbal tea. Not just any tea, (Aveda comforting tea) this tea made me feel as though I was breathing out a years worth of stress. Maybe it was the taste, maybe the aroma of the tea. But either way, it did the job.Then I was seated with a beautician. She started out by giving me a wonderful head and shoulder massage. Not talking to much, but asking in a soft voice what I wanted done with my hair. After a ten minute massage she went on to wash my hair. What great product, yet another scent to relax the spirit and mind. My hair cut was as refreshing and stylish as the whole experience. As I was leaving the salon, I walked out and felt like a million dollars! This whole process only took an hour. What an hour get-away that was. Sometimes we have to do the small things to get the biggest rewards. Who would have thought that going for a haircut would be such an awesome experience. Thanks Neroli!

Wow, all I can say is the new Potowotomi Casino is phenomenal! I Love It! With the new extensions and the new restaraunts there is no way that I can resist! Now when I walk in, I feel as though I am as close to Las Vegas as I ever could be without actaully going there. Anybody who likes a nice day out should just check this place out. I also went to the buffet, although I went during the day and having a firekeepers card had lunch for only $12.95. This was a deal..... I loved the food, the service was good, and as always, I was over stuffed. I didn't even get to try much but what I did eat was fantastic. The best shrimp I have had without going to San Francisco. So everybody, give it a try. Potowotomi has so much to offer, theres no way you can lose. (well besides a little cash on the slots!) 
After a much needed rest, my family and I decided to venture to the Great Wolf Lodge in WI Dells. I have to say, my past experiences there were much better than this year. The price was comparible to other hotels, the inside waterpark was definately thumbs up with the new indoor wave pool and additional slides. The room though, was fair. Being put in a corner room on the first floor, closest to the pool had it's weaknesses. Patio was small and blocked by the main hotel airconditioner next to it. Couldn't even read or enjoy the outdoors for one minute. There were bugs due to the dampness, and the maid service was nill. Now I don't want to fail to mention that I did have a great experience at this hotel last year. It might be the time of year, as last year we went in the fall. Shortage of staff? who knows. If your going for the waterpark, GO! If your looking for some quite time added in, just make sure they don't give you a corner room on the first floor and you will enjoy. Happy times can be had at the Great Wolf Lodge!
Went to Big Guys Grill today. Met Big. What a nice man. Kept coming in and asking customers how their food was. He even turned down the air because one of the customers felt chilled! Excellent food. You will figure out that I love my Ruebens. Huge and tender. Made for two meals. The hamburgars are really delicious as well. If you have a great appetite, this is the place to go! Coming soon - an outdoor patio. Waukesha's looking up!

I recently visited the Capital Cafe on Capital Drive in Brookfield. The service was great, the prices were reasonable and the food was fantastic. I had the rueben sandwich and was surprised when served. It is a gigantic open faced, tender beyond what I have ever tasted, corn beef sandwich. If you love rueben's try this one!
