How do we get the most bang for our ad buck? since I sell to teens mostly I tend to go for school newspapers and school raffles. A friend of mine does children's clothing advertises in those small pamphlets for parents that the pediatricians offices give out. What is your feild and how do you most effectively reach your targets?

I have a rather busy site for the sheet metal industry and I use national trade magazines for my advertising - we do display advertising that goes to about 23,000 shops every month. I often write & contribute "technical articles" that helps promote the web site - our main revenue is from sponsorship and some product sells.

To write an article is a really good idea. I wonder how I could use that... maybe lecture in a business class or on career day. Thanks!

Right, but you might have to searc h a little bit for article content - I don't know the shirt business or what you're all selling, but if it was a shirt business that one could or might be marketing then the article might be one of the many shirt fads through the years - the many uses people use to market their products through the use of tee's, might be the ideas around the design (your design)

It could be an article on what to look for when buying a shirt so that you can enjoy it for years...you can often get some ideas by putting together a cluster board of everything that comes to mind and start to sort them and you'll be amazed on what you can come up with.
